Not too long ago we did a post about a session where we served as a public adviser to NCVHS, CMS, HHS with some other folks.

The post is a monster and has all the context, and that’s more important than the details.

But if you’re interested, the details are in the slide and here they are, embedded in this post – or you can jump to SlideShare.

The basic ideas are in the previous post, and these are the first couple of slides.  The bulk of the presentation is in two appendixes, one on how to turn data into meaningful information for business problems (taxonomy), the other on how to get lots of folks to use said data and how to turn their usage into a way to do data-driven product development.

All this is specific for CMS/HHS but applies to entities in the private market to varying degrees.

Enjoy.
